About

Vincent T. Pallaci's experience in the construction industry began prior to his graduation from law school when he worked as a law clerk in a Manhattan law firm that represented contractors.  Upon graduation, he joined a firm that had a large part of its practice devoted to representing those in the construction industry.  It was there that Mr. Pallaci began to to learn the nuances of the construction industry and had his first experiences with lien foreclosure claims and major construction defect litigation.  Since then Mr. Pallaci has continued to represent contractors throughout his entire career and now practices construction law across the State of New York.  He has represented numerous contractors, subcontractors, developers, owners, materials suppliers and design professionals in various construction disputes in both State and Federal Courts in New York.

In addition to litigation, Mr. Pallaci regularly counsels clients across the United States on their mechanic's lien rights within New York.  With offices in Long Island and Buffalo, Mr. Pallaci is able to counsel clients on construction law related issues in every County in the State of New York. Many times, out of state suppliers, and their attorneys, unfamiliar with New York's lien laws, will contact Mr. Pallaci for guidance on their rights within the State.  His extensive knowledge of the Lien Law allows him to personally handle clients' lien related disputes from start (preparation of the lien) to finish (judgment of foreclosure).  Often, Mr. Pallaci will be able to successfully negotiate a prompt resolution of the payment dispute without the need of resorting to litigation.  However, in those instances that result in litigation, Mr. Pallaci and his firm will vigorously prosecute the lien claim through to judgment and sale of the property.

Mr. Pallaci is the sole author and publisher of the New York Mechanic's Lien Blog (http://nymechanicsliens.blogspot.com/)  and the New York Construction Law Update Blog (http://newyorkconstructionlawupdate.blogspot.com/).   He has written more than 100 articles discussing the legal issues that effect the construction industry and he is a frequent lecturer on construction and the law.

Every year since 2012 Super Lawyers Magazine has named Mr. Pallaci as a "Rising Star" in the area of construction litigation - an honor reserved for only 2.5% of the practicing attorneys in New York.  Mr. Pallaci also holds a "preeminent AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell.  This is the highest rating offered by Martindale-Hubbell.
